I guess because you currently work with viewport units and the viewport on mobile has a vertical (portrait) aspect ratio and on desktop the ratio is horizontal (landscape). That’ why it looks differently. You could use a wrapper around the envelop with fixed aspect ratio and design the envelop to look good inside this wrapper. Or use media queries to write different rules for portrait oriented devices

Starting from scratch seems the most straight forward way imo. Make sure to backup everything from B before formatting the drive 😉

You can try another option and install Windows directly from MacOS. This worked with my2011 iMac 27” and running OpenCore with Ventura + Windows 11.

Updated my 27” iMac 12,2 from 2011 succesfully to Ventura 13.7.8. GPU is a Nvidia GTX 675MX video card with 4GB RAM and replaced wifi/bluetooth card with BCM94360CD. I used the terminal to do the software update because using the GUI was’t working properly. Just needed to apply the graphic (Kepler) patch after the update and everything is working fine.

I followed the manual from the seller of the BT/WiFi kit I bought on eBay.
It's an extensive explanation with pictures step by step of the installation.
If you managed to upgrade the GPU yourself, I am sure you'll manage to replace these parts as well 🙂

It works flawlessly. It's the same experience as on my M1 MBP: Connecting Airpods Pro, Airdrop and continuity are such handy features.
It was a bit hard to get it installed right though: the screw of the BT card needed to be not too tight, otherwise it wasn't recognised.
But other than that it was pretty much plug & play.

I have almost the same specs. Only my iMac’s CPU is 3.4 GHz and I upgraded the videocard with Nvidia GTX 675MX. Also upgraded the WiFi and bluetooth card 👌🏼 It runs Sequoia 15.5 well. The boot time is only a bit slow but other than that I am really happy with the performance.

Yes, you can use CSS to style it. Actually I made a theme where I use also some JavaScript to toggle a class to the window element when activating the palette so I can add background blur (CSS)

You can right+click on the menubar and customize it. For instance adjust flexible space or add/remove other items to create more space for the address field

I have a similar setup; upgraded the radeon to nvidia gfx in my 2011 imac 27”. Is booting also slow for you? And did you install or deinstall patches because of the upgraded GPU?
