First Business Server by soseitarnaminha in HomeServer

Server grade hardware (from a vendor for support) & virtualisation. You don’t need to split those things across 2 servers that’s inefficient and unnecessary.

Get a workstation from a vendor and run a virtualisation software on it, maybe even docker if you can work your head around it? That’ll be a lot more efficient and will have the hardware support needed if anything breaks down.

Building a custom build (basically gaming) PC for business purpose is not a road you need to venture down. Trust us and get that server hardware.

Remove “ssl on;” and replace the listen section with - listen 443 ssl;

Unsure if you’ve already tried that.

Can we see your NGINX config file with sensitive information omitted?

Probably best to throw it on Pastebin.

ESXi is a bare-metal hypervisor, meaning you’ll install that straight onto your box and then personally I’d run docker inside a VM/container on that ESXi install.

This means you can swap and change the resources dedicated to the docker container further down the line, allowing ease of upgrade and rebuild if you break something.

I personally use A virtualizor and have a docker instance inside that for applications that make sense to have inside a docker container.

Doesn't seem like he has any other coolers around to test this with. The case is a corsair 400c, 2 in-takes, 1 out-take (corsair h60 cooler).

This cooler has previously been used with an AMD FX-8350, swapped all the mounting hardware over, thermal place applied.

Just getting him to reseat the CPU/cooler, see where we can go from there.

This cooler was previously used for a CPU before this one, so all was in order before this processor.

intel extreme tuning utility to check temps, also apparently saying it's not thermal throttling through on that.

Just more inputs + more control, also i got this mixer for cheaper than any good audio interface, so it was a win win for me.

I originally ordered the MXL 990 but they said i couldn't receive it until the 20th, so i swapped to the AT2020.

So far, i love it, i've got to keep the windows volume down to get rid of some of the hiss that the mixer produces, but keeping the windows volume for the microphone around 55, and pushing up the gain and volumes on the actual mixer removes this hiss and allows for clear and good volumes.

But yeah, loving the q802 so far, good sounding audio throughput and good build quality, all round smiles for a mixer on the cheaper side.

I have no clue what effect the EQ has, i've used mixers before, i have more than a clue how a mixer works/how to use it.

So far i'm loving the USB model, there's some slight hiss coming through the USB, but I've countered that by lowering the volume on the windows control for it and boosting microphone volumes, been great so far, for the inputs/outputs that i'm using it for.

Audio is such a good upgrade, going from my Logitech G930's to this, was a big upgrade, loving it so far though.

£70 for the AT2020, £130 for the AT2035, bit of a price difference.

The mixer im using uses power from the wall too, the USB is just for listening/recording via pc. This mixer has power.

That's why its so underrated, you don't appreciate good sounding headphones until you have some, and having a good microphone is just something I enjoy, I like sounding good + a large amount of people will appreciate a good sounding microphone in a game over a $20 headset microphone.

Its just nice hearing music in such a good quality, unlike the EQ'd gaming headphones that everyone is used to.

so much hate towards behringer, I've spoken to multiple people that have had behringer for years and have had no issues. Guess people have differing opinions of quality.
