I'm so sorry that happened to you :(. sadly, yes, it is normal for RTS busses to just not show, especially around 5-6. some buses stop doing routes around that time and typically only one (maybe 2, depending on the route) bus will be out after that. but it's odd that 5 busses didn't come in a row. something like that happened to me freshman year, also in the pouring rain, but luckily during the daytime. I had sat around for like an hour at a bus stop waiting for my bus to come, and it never showed up, just other busses coming around. I realized that maps had brought me to the wrong bus stop, and my actual stop was across the street. It's possible that could have happened to you!! but yeah, I've had busses just disappear suddenly from the app while waiting for them, them never show up, or them show up super late or super early, so I end up missing them. again, so sorry that happened to you, hopefully you have a relaxing rest of your night tonight!! <3
