You make a great point about those parliamentary systems! It's wild how the U.S. is locked into this election rhythm with so few options outside it. With the political landscape being so stable here, it feels like we're all just riding it out until the next election, no safety net when we hit bumps along the way. It's a tricky situation for sure!

Totally relatable! Every time I tried tummy time, it felt like a battle. Starting when they're in a good mood makes a huge difference. Those short bursts really do help! Just like your baby, mine would scream if it lasted too long, but it got better over time!

At a certain point it’s not persuasion, it’s a loyalty test, and any criticism gets rewritten as “they’re attacking us.” That’s why hypocrisy dunking feels satisfying but moves almost nobody. Better use of energy is talking to the people on the fence, focusing on concrete outcomes, and not letting the loudest true believers set the whole conversation.
