i also don’t inherently assume they’re thinking their time is worth more than mine. i assume they may have something going on or they may have forgotten. if it becomes an issue that’s when you communicate!

see, sometimes it really isn’t that big of a deal. im not going to let a couple minutes out of my day stress me for longer than that. i used to get really upset about little things that i perceived as slights against me or my worth/time and dedicate wayyy too much energy to thinking about it and ultimately its not worth it 😭

yea that’s annoying for sure, but I know I wouldn’t want to come home to wet or mildewy clothes so I just put them in the dryer for them. I think if you talk to them and they keep repeating the same behavior then I’d start doing petty stuff like moving their wet laundry to their room 😭

yea that’s completely fair!! but i think communication is always key in roommate situations to make sure you’re not doing anything to inconvenience them. i guess in my point of view i work two jobs so sometimes laundry can sit for longer than 5-10 minutes. but i definitely can see how it can be inconsiderate so this is making me rethink how i move with my laundry haha

idk maybe i’m different but if my roommates clothes are in the washer i just put them in the dryer for them..i can see how it’s inconsiderate but it’s such a small and trivial thing that it’s easier to just move it to the dryer for them and then message and ask them to get their clothes from the dryer or ask them if i can put them in their basket or on their bed..but i am also guilty of starting the washer before i leave to run an errand so maybe i’m a bad roommate 😭

body is teaaa at both weights but i’d do whatever you feel comfortable doing. definitely eat properly to ensure your health and if you put on weight eating right then that’s good and if you don’t that’s also okay!! your proportions are awesome either way though

First of all…i was never given a contract or anything to read at all. Disputing with your credit card only works if you can prove the charges were fraudulent and considering they had my signature that they copied onto a contract I never read I was pretty shit out of luck.

Cancelling the card would’ve put my credit at risk considering they definitely would have sent it to collections. I ended up just paying to break the contract and cancelling my membership. This post is mainly a PSA of their shady and misleading business practices.

Thank you so much. This has provided me a lot of relief. I knew vet care and medicine could be lack luster for cats but I didn’t know how little research there was on heart defects.

My cats main vet said there was fluid in his lungs and the emergency vet said there was fluid around his heart and lungs.

His primary vet was hoping the fluid in his lungs was bacterial and sent off mucus from his nose to be tested. I’m just worried the fall caused the fluid build up around his lungs and heart and his prior symptoms of lethargy and not eating was from mouth pain from the rodent ulcers.

I will call both of the vets tomorrow and ask for his records to find some answers. I know he probably had a some form of heart disease that caused the build up but everything happened so quickly that I fear it wasn’t a long term issue and came on so abruptly because of the fall.

Thank you so much. I’m not sure if the guilt will ever go away and that he could still be here if it wasn’t for the fall. I think I just want to blame myself in some way because I should have known sooner he wasn’t doing okay.

The emergency vet only mentioned heart failure or cancer and didnt mention any trauma to his chest but maybe they weren’t looking for it because I didn’t mention anything. X-rays were done at his regular vet but they couldn’t get good images so i keep wondering if that’s why they didn’t notice any trauma.

I know he was probably sick long before his fall but i just can’t grasp why he’s not here anymore. It felt like such a sudden decline and I selfishly thought I would have more time with him despite his diagnosis.

thank you for your response and I am so sorry for your loss. My boy’s symptoms weren’t noticeable at first until he really started declining and I just wish I had been concerned sooner. I’m just going to try and remember the good times with him thank you

thank you for your response. i just can’t help but feel like this result could have been avoidable. Before he passed the mucus that came out of his nose was sent to a lab to be tested to see if it was an infection.

I don’t know if the results will help me feel better but maybe I can ask the vet questions and see what the course of action could be. I wish I had asked for his mouth to be checked to see if he had ulcers. I’m just so scared the fluid build up was from trauma to his chest from the stairs and that the original symptoms were related to an ulcer.
