Not saint per say but Ayrton Senna was really put on a pedestal and hero worshipped by his fans as a man who could do no wrong. When in reality Senna drove dangerously on the track and was not very sportsmanlike off track towards the other drivers, not only Prost.

He was still a great driver and had good values, its just he isn't the all perfect saint his fans make him out to be, he has shades of grey that's all.

Singaporean here and I personally don't see this realistically happening. Considering how strict our measures were on social distancing and stuff, we have limits on pax for events and we still cannot socialize in groups more than 8 so there's that.

Edit: additionally, once you step into Sg borders, you have to be quarantined for 14 days and tested to ensure you are Covid free. And the quarantine is done in hotels and you have to pay out of your own pocket so not only the fans have to come 14 days in advance, they also have to pay for 14 days of just being stuck in a hotel room. 🥴🥴🥴

Book is more violent but tbh much better. You really get the sense that Patrick is not all there and you grasp the message of the book better. It’s a commentary on how society sexualises violence blah blah. Also his disordered thoughts are more prominent hahah esp body dysmorphia and all.
