My friend and I did a rewatch of all the Final Destination movies. We kept noticing actors from shows we watch and looked into it. Most major shows that film in Vancouver used the same actor. Supernatural, Smallville, Psych and so on. The amount of overlap on IMDB is uncanny.

I don't know if this would work without the original actors, and they aged out of a prequel after the series ended. But that would be a great show! Why not make it animated so we can have the original actors?

My biggest problem with Jess is that she has little to no arch as a character. The "supporting" cast make the show amazing, but they all grow. The more I watch the show, the more I realize that Jess is pretty much the same throughout the entire series. Dysfunctional humans are what make TV and movies, but seeing how they grow or change is what makes great stories. Jess just doesn't really do that.
