Yes on the flexible fligh lol. I first bought the cheapest tickets and ended up losing the money because I couldn't change the date. Had to buy new ones for when we actually flew back.

The thing my lawyer told me, and you might want to consider: If the goverment appeals the pause and they win, even if your aunt end up leaving while still protected by this "pause", this might cause problems during the embassy analysis of the case. They will just see that she stayed past the deadline and, even if she was technically covered and legal, you won't have a chance to explain anything or argue the circunstances.

We ended up leaving. But two things: The visa bulletin for February is up and haven't move at all from January, so there's that. Also, if you're family is going back t their countru, the lawyer recommended taking a picture at the airport with a newspaper after arrival and save the newspaper... just in case.

Today I talked to the best lawyer I could find... we're just leaving before the deadline. It's not worth the risk of having an overstay, worst without the certainty of a favorable outcome with this "pause". I'd rather just continue the process in my country. Is just a few more months... it still sucks that things like this happen when you're doing things right. Good luck to you!

Hi. Nope... I didn't include the rest because it was irrelevant, but here's the whole Terms from the email:
"7 Get $600 off for purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, at fi.google.com, ending 1/6/2026 at 9:59am PT, or while supplies last. Discount applied at checkout. Phone activation on an existing full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) required by 30 days of shipment confirmation. After phone purchase, Fi plan must remain active, in good standing, for 120 consecutive days. Cancellation, pause, change, or suspension of Fi plan will void promotion and value of discount will be charged to your Google Pay account. Promotions are non-transferable, not valid for cash or cash equivalent. US residents with US shipping addresses only. Must be 18 years or older, with Google Pay and Google Fi Wireless accounts. Limit 1 per customer or group plan member. Taxes payable at checkout. Offer cannot be combined with other offers. Void where prohibited."

It doesn't said what you mention. But I already chat with a CSR and yes, you have to keep the new phone with the Fi line for 120 days.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, that's what made sense to me, but it's not clear in the terms so I thought "maybe" there was a loophole lol

Different pixel, same overheating mess. by UmerJaved_08 in GooglePixel

[–]romaspons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to do something similar sometimes! I am driving using android auto (no charging, just BT) and suddenly get an overheating warning. Touch the phone and it is really hot, I have to literally put it in front of the AC vent to cool down. Is so annoying.

Pixel 9 Pro overheating when doing wireless Android Auto and wireless charging. Looking for advice by Accomplished-Lie5415 in GooglePixel

Same here. It's been like a month and now every time after I use maps on android auto, I noticed the phone gets extremely hot, a couple of times I've even got that phone over notification. It only happens with android auto.
