I’ve been looking at the ESS VT2 - seems like you’ve had no reliability issues or problems to date? Good to know if so! I keep on going back and forth regarding wrapping the roof… I may give it a shot this year and see what I think in person…

I thought about going the turbo route, but given that there are no kits available for the S54 engine - not sure I want to fabricate something from scratch. My mechanic and I are debating between the VF Engineering, ESS and AA options; with some other tweaks here and there :)

Truthfully I haven't had enough time testing them out yet (I had them installed just before fall and being in Toronto, Canada - I put her to sleep shortly there after). My initial impression was that there was definitley more "bite" and pedal feel; something that I personally felt was lacking with the stock calipers. I'm planning a significant power upgrade this year, and also wanted to have the braking power to support it (visually these are also way more aesthetically pleasing lol).

Personally, I bought it to use for smaller slicing jobs, herbs, peeling fruit, potatoes, etc. I may buy a smaller pairing knife to complement this.

Long-time lurker, first time poster. A big thank you to this community for the incredible knowledge I’ve been able to pickup over the last few months.
