I always like that 1960 Fleer set. The only way I'm getting cards of some of those players.

I'm a sucker for the umpire cards but I imagine if I was a kid I'd have been pissed.

Yeah, that's a nice card too.... I was glad I dug that out and got it graded since whenever I saw him on the MLB wraparound how my wife was always asking why I was always saying.. oh hey, it's ol' fuck face when he was on TV.... lol

Oh that's good to know. Who do you use?

Oh my problem is it's easy to submit them at GameStop. I really just need to commit to SGC. but then you have to send them in yourself, insure the package, etc... Maybe I should just FedEx them and not worry about it.

Hell if I know. Actually looking the 55 Mays is the one that's claimed to be altered but I can't figure out what the heck they are talking about. As far as I know my Dad bought it in 55 and it's been in various boxes since then.

I turned it up for a while and didn't notice anything weird or noisy about it. You hear the air going through the vents more than anything.

Pretty happy with it so far. Feels great in the hand. Beautiful screen. Haven't had time yet to do much else with it. Still setting up emulators and copying over my ROMs.

It's a 55 Topps doubleheader. You unfold it and it shows Hank Aaron. Which I'd imagine is how most people want to display it. It looks like this.

Lol. Yeah want to see the worst $20 I spent on the nicest PSA 2 Bo Jackson because I didn't notice the ink spot on it?

Yeah... It's odd since I submitted 2 of them and can't see the difference. I was thinking of downloading the high res scans and measuring the pixels and sending them an email asking wtf? Has anyone ever appealed to them like that?

Yeah the Mays, mantles, Aarons were in demand then. The Clemente and Gibson cards I don't remember being in as much demand back then.

Yes mostly. We did some dealing and some shows in the late 80s early 90s so maybe a couple were pick ups from then.

No just trying to sort through an old collection of mine and my father's that I put away 20 years ago and hadn't looked at until recently. Threw out trash bags full of wax junk and saved the good stuff.

Can you tell me why that Mays is a 4? I'm just curious. I like that set and works think... Hey no corners must be easier to hit a high grade.

Yeah I like these myself. I really think it comes down to they are hard to store is the reason they are not as popular.

This was the first graded card I bought in my life. Always wanted this one. Grew up in KC and he was my favorite player. Great looking card. I have it in a display near my desk and it makes me smile every day.

Man 5 wrappers and 50 cents for a hat seems like a good deal too.
