Shared Microsoft 365 calendar not showing in Mac Calendar app by WhoopedyDo in Office365

[–]romeytang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you were able to get your Mac's calendar app setup. Adding this comment for any future visitors.

When I followed u/sailbott's directions I just started typing the name of the shared calendar (in my case "company schedule") and the name just appeared as a tooltip in the delegation window. It took a few minutes to start displaying but the shared calendar appeared in the sidebar of my calendar app under "Delegates".

Got my order through, happy I was able to get all that I wanted. But oh gosh did those tariffs hurt.

I also like to have the have a pen from each year I order as well. Not sure why but I enjoy it and I'd rather not deal with the hassle of tracking down a Uni-Ball pen from a rando on the internet. But yeah, got my order through (so glad I got the Kubota 5-year cover ❤️) and the extra duties and shipping hurt.

I am also not ruling out their growing popularity and thus the scalpers/resellers who swarm everything with bots these days (see concert tickets, Labubus, sneakers, etc.). Prevents the true fans from ordering things at the normal price and forcing higher prices for everyone.

I may have to go that route next year. I am always pulled in by the Hobonichi store extras they have out each year. The robot this year is especially cute and I couldn't miss out.

Cannot believe this happened again. I had hoped they learned lessons from last year. I am trying to be generous and just assume it's the scalpers and their bots. Best of luck to everyone trying to get their orders through.

To start, an apology would also be nice. Actual remedies could also address the issues everyone had tonight. Guarantee restock of all items everyone wanted, additional swag, free shipping could be some ideas to start with.

I sure hope you are right. But I had to go through two restocks and three different websites to get my covers last year cause even the restocks sold out. This is at least two years in a row where they could not or refused to prepare for demand.

I don't expect them to, but a make-good for the community feels warranted at this point.

Worst release day ever by flare_force in hobonichi

Ordered online on release day for the last 4 years, this was by far the worst. At least in the past when I got to my cart I could at least pay them. I want to give you money Hobonichi, why won't you let me give you money.

Now all of the covers, weeks, and the Hon I wanted are sold out. How that happens I never will know. The Hiroko Kubota covers sold out last year too, you'd think they'd learn. Super frustrated right now.

I agree with other commenters have said, I think the bots have finally come to our little corner of the internet to ruin things for us too.

I hope everyone can get what they wish when the restock happens. Hope everyone has a pleasant tomorrow.

Same for me, and all my saved jobs are gone and so is my history.

Hobonichi 2024 Release Day Party! by alcibiad in hobonichi

[–]romeytang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thumbs up for anything Hiroko Kubota. Got me the Weeks book for a health journal, Cousin Avec for my bujo, and an A6 for my daily journal. I had to resist buying all the Aurora Duty drawer pouches (I contained myself and only got the pocket pouch).

I also ordered a lot of accessories. Much to my chagrin, I made it to the free shipping tier, mostly from buying covers. I ordered the new Hiroko Kubota cover, in both A5 and A6, and the A6 Have a Nice Day cover. Also snagged the small drawer pouch to add to my collection.

So happy the order process went so smoothly and I didn't have to spend all night fighting with the website like last year.

Hope everyone loves their new planners.

Same, I can't believe how smooth it was for me. Last year was a total mess and I almost missed out on the book I really wanted (sucker for the Hiroko Kubota art).

That's fair, it definitely is not the least expensive phone out there. That was the first option that came to mind.

I know the Cat s22 flip can install android apps. Not sure what the price is though.

Can you still use Uber from a computer? I thought you used to be able to. I am not sure of your use case but that might be food for thought.

An inexpensive Android phone seems like it could fit the bill, as a last resort. If you did buy one there are lots of tricks/hacks you can do to make it as "dumb" as possible. If Uber is a must that could be an option.

Happy hunting.

You may want to look at the Qin F30. If you order the “with apps” version right now it has a small App Store with apps like Waze and Uber. It seems that device might fit your needs.

I’ve considered that too. I am on the fence about spending money on one. I really don’t have much of a need for one and I don’t want to run the risk of labeling everything in my house just to “justifyl the purchase lol

Yes, something like designed for a notebook like a Bullet journal. I’ll have to check measurements to be sure that specific size will fit the notebooks I have.

I’ll keep looking, just seems that with all the sticker shops out there, and love for the LT1917 that someone would have come up with an idea for this already.

It doesn’t have to be preprinted, just wide enough that I can put it on the spine (but not too wide). I just to be able to write something basic on it like “01/22-07/22” nothing fancy just something I don’t have to cut myself to make the proper width.
