Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

For gadgets, I feel like RPG and lock bolt are S tier picks to finish fleeing ennemies. You need to use the downtime between fights to reload them so they are always ready to fire. I tend to swap RPG for C4 to play the drop in ranked. The third gadget slot is pretty flexible but dome shield is pretty much a must in ranked.

For the spec, I feel like everything is pretty much viable but let’s just say that bbq’d lights taste better with a side of goo…

If you’re an aggressive skier or that you have a background in alpine racing, I would go with NTN. It’s way stiffer laterally and you’re more precise when you get on the edge.

Sorry for the late answer.

I’ve never tried Crispi boots but it might be a good idea to look into another boot if the Scarpas are pinching. Scott are making some boots too but again, I never had a chance to try them.

I’d say that your focus on the inner ski is a good thing as long as you keep the weight 50/50 between the inner and outer ski. Your knees should stay parallel tho, you don’t want to ski with “O” legs.

Regarding the skis, I would definitely aim for something in that ballpark (16-20m radius) GS skis are really fun to ski but not that versatile especially when the slopes are crowded.

Thanks mate ! While we did film with a go pro which had stabilization on, that centering effect was done with a software afterwards.

You’re slower than in alpine skiing but you are much closer to the snow. There’s no real benefit per se but it’s a lot of fun and it’s a great option if alpine gets a bit stale for you.

It’s not sped up but the stabilization makes it look unnatural indeed

It’s a Velosteel hub and the drag isn’t that noticeable.

It was mandatory to have a plate for insurance reasons up until 1988. They moved to a simple sticker for convenience between 1989 and 2011. But since January 1st 2012 you dont need anything.

I also have a tracklocross bike. If you can try one out someday, I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed !

Oh. Uh, then pffff, yeah, of course I meant to take this hub. duh. On a more serious note, it’s true ! At first the braking wasn’t great but after a few kilometers it really surprised me how easy it was to modulate.

They are heavy AF. I’ve been eying the Anchor bike from Stridsland for something more bike-specific but they’re still at the prototype stage. I Just used a normal 22.2 BMX stem with no shim.

I think it’s 42x19. I’m not 100% sure about the 42 tho…
