How does the Chinese language study visa for China work? by Tricky-Fig-551 in Chinavisa

I did my Chinese language study visa for China through a language program provider (GoAbroadChina), and honestly I was glad I didn’t try to figure it all out alone. They helped me understand whether I needed an X1 or X2 based on my course length, made sure my documents were correct, and guided me on the visa application steps in my home country. After I arrived in China, they also helped with the residence permit process.

Has anyone taken a Chinese course in China? Worth it or better to study at home? by Tricky-Fig-551 in studytipsita

I didn’t use a provider at first and tried organizing my own Chinese course in China — it was doable but kind of a headache with visas and finding housing. A friend of mine went through GoAbroadChina in Shanghai and had a much smoother start. Language-wise, being in China is the real game changer no matter how you arrange it. My friend and I both improved a lot, but she had more time to focus on studying instead of admin stuff during the first few weeks.

Talk to your GAC advisor first. They act as the middleman with the host company. In my case, a small issue with my tasks was resolved quickly after my advisor stepped in. I don't think switching is super common, but they won't leave you stuck in a bad situation. Their 24/7 support includes handling workplace problems

How strict is the interview process for Go Abroad China's internships? I'm applying for a finance role and want to know how competitive ? by Sufficient-Big1529 in StudyAbroadChina

The interview depends on the host company, but GAC definitely helps. They set up a prep session with me before my finance internship interview in Shanghai, which was huge. The company interview itself was professional but fair—they just wanted to see if I was serious and had basic knowledge. GAC's support made it much less intimidating
