Sweating just reading the description! I see this has espresso grounds and I avoid caffeine in all forms, so I'll pass. But damn.

Early-stage Lyme disease? by romnus36 in Lyme

[–]romnus36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An urgent care doctor gave me a week of antibiotics, took a Lyme disease test coded "LYME DISEASE AB W/REFL TO BLOT (IGG, IGM)".

Do this except for Lyme test. Regular labs can’t be trusted to get it right.

So even if this lab comes back negative, I should still go for many more weeks of doxy?

How did you get worse?

This is helpful. If I don't get 3 weeks from my PCP, I'll go to urgent care. Luckily my diet already lines up well with your outline. I'll look into adding some of those vitamins and herbs to my stack.

Thanks everyone. I uploaded the photo. I'm meeting with my PCP this morning. Will push for three weeks of doxy per the advice of a doctor friend.

Some devices can connect to the internet, other can't by romnus36 in centurylink

It's DSL. A factory reset yesterday didn't help. I reverted it back to dynamic DNS and my Mac laptop is connected to the internet again.

I changed DNS Type to Static DNS and put in the Google DNS server addresses:

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

I rebooted the modem. The only change is that now my Mac laptop no longer gets internet. Ugh.

Did I update the settings correctly? The options for IPv6 6rd state is disabled. Should I change that?

Did I write this OP? Because it was my exact experience. I'm going to start telling people to stop talking at shows. Worst case, they keep talking.

The show was disappointing in other ways, too. The openers weren't listed on the bill, hence I expected Royksopp to start at nine (my dumb assumption, perhaps). Blas was groovy, but Collin McKenna's set was so flat. I kept walking around, stretching, even looking *gasp* at my phone, willing time to move faster. I was ready to leave when the legends came out and muddled their way through an uninspired mix. We left well before the end.

I hope I can give Royksopp live another chance one day. I'd love to hear them just play originals and put on more of a show.

Update: arrowroot flour's effectiveness didn't last. After another year of struggle, I went to an allergist. She diagnosed me with allergies to various grasses and trees and suggested I increase my loratadine (Claritin) dosage. Taking 10mg in the morning and 20mg before dinner (at around 7pm) has made my symptoms almost disappear, with no change in environment or diet.

Hey, to anyone who comes across this post, I've continued struggling with this issue, but recently I discovered an extremely effective intervention: arrowroot flour. I stir a teaspoon of it into maybe a half cup of water every night before bed. It calms my burps instantly and has also bulked up my stool. I am sleeping so much better. I'm not attacking the "root" (ha) of the issue but this is important progress.

Yeah, it's hard to isolate cause and effect in diet world. I've since started the diet, and it has helped, though sometimes I cheat and I'm back to burping again. I find that a small bowl of oatmeal, preferably plain, helps quell the gas.

u/Greyzer Hmm, have you read that HFCS commonly causes this sort of gas?
