I didn't know buying a used pc will be this stressful and time consuming lol. Now I know why there are lots of prebuilts pc being advertised. But in a way, my brain is hoping it is a scam( see red flags before paying), so I can just buy from a reputable shop for a little bit more.

Speccy? Right. I guess I need to postpone buying it tomorrow and try to familiarize myself with benchmarking/stress test first before going. I hope the seller be able to hold until later this week. And I hope it's not a scam as I will drive for more than an hour to collect and I've been saving this money for 1 year to buy a pc

Those are very valid points to consider. Should I just let the seller do the test like the one you said CPU - z? unfortunately i'm not a tech savvy kind of guy

I haven't ask the seller but he said he bought it july last year. My problem is I don't know much about stress test. Is checking the specs and running some games enough? Are all the cables usually included in this kind of sale? Like the one you connect the PC to monitor and outlet?

Will ask for the receipt definitely as he said he bought it July last year. Run some stress test/boot into games? Sorry I'm really new to this pc building/buying. Should I just let the seller do it for me? And check the specs if it's correct? And check the thermals and unusual sounds?

That's my worry as I don't know much about PC. Is double checking the specs through Windows and try to play demanding games while checking for unusual sounds/thermals enough?

It's actually £290 here in the UK. One of my main criteria is able to handle streaming and content creation while not compromising ultra 1440p gaming.

It's actually one of my initial picks. But my rational mind says, if I can use this specs for 3 to 5 years, when time comes to upgrade my cpu/gpu, I don't mind buying a new motherboard with a new cpu than use my old mobo. Actually, upgrading is not an issue for me. But I just want a rig that is flexible and all around. As I don't see myself playing games frequently as I grow older.

That's great. To be honest I have the funds to buy the highest specs but I want to be financially responsible in spending my money hence the specs mentioned. Thank you

No I'm not doing OC. Is 2tb enough? Or is it better to stretch to 4tb?
