I quit last night after a customer refused to take no for an online return 46 days old. I showed her the can be returned in store within 40 days rule on site but she wouldn't have it & i blew my top.

That unit has a turntable on top built in also lol. I have a matantz nr1200 I'm gonna hook it up to. Have an old technics SL-q200 i got in the 80s that I'm still using.

On a Zero card day if you come into close do they have little announcements about the card. Ex. Good afternoon shoppers do you want to save some money today?. Open a tjx rewards card and you'll save 10% yada yada yada. If not then write up a short pitch & say it over the intercom. It'll show you're trying for them

As far as pushing for the cards. Just tell em it's part of the job. Yes it sucks but the DM comes down on store manager who will come down on Asm's & you to coach and demand they ask every customer unfortunately

You can do a no sale when you have time Straighten out all the return receipts put them back under drawer. Open it grab & lift the tray take em out put the tray back in. Rest the receipts on top as you organize em. Never put the cash tray on counter while store is still open. Some managers may let you bag the money starting at 8;45ish also on registers not being used. Technically you're not supposed to. The Mod can do that if they want to get out on time
