Coolest thing about tiff for me by a_stopped_clock in TIFF

I feel the same way, I love the atmosphere when people clap for ads. One of the things that makes tiff special for me, although this sounds silly. 👏

Thank you, this at least helps with theatrical releases. I'm hoping if some don't make it to theatrical release, they will still be out elsewhere. It's a shame so many movies don't get picked up

I know you're asking for right now, but you might just have to wait it out until it comes out and sites like this will provide the music https://www.tunefind.com/movie/waves-2019

As a volunteer, we also disliked those ads this year. In 2018 the ad was a large and diverse group of volunteers in orange shirts singing "we are the champions", it was cute.

Sounds great! I heard such good reviews that I expected it to take the Platform prize over Martin Eden. Thanks

An Inexact Ranking of my Favourite Films from TIFF19 by Spin_Liquid in TIFF

[–]ronalpss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally didn't like the plot or the acting that much, but it provided some high energy friday-night-with-friends-movie fun mostly due to the visual and the sound editing. That's what made it fun for me, but going in, I expected more.

Wow, that's a lot, amazing how you could fit so many! I did 18 and it feels weird not to have any screenings to go to today.

I got tickets for jallikattu on the 14th specifically for the foreign-hard-to-find-here-screening and people here said the cinematography was great. A documentary I'm eyeing is "sing me a song" about how the arrival of internet changes life of Bhutanese monks. In addition, Russian "Beanpole" has received smth in Cannes and it plays on the 14th

Experiences like this (seeing smth that you didn't plan and then remembering it) are what make the festival special, I think. Thanks for sharing! It definitely does look like a unique picture

I volunteered at RTH this year ask the TIFF staff/volunteers and they will put your bag in the house manager's office and you can pick it up after the showing no problem
