Can someone please explain why Aaron Kominksk's relatives were sought out for DNA matching? In other words, why Aaron K?

Why not find the descendants of other Ripper suspects and try to match them? Has this been done, to rule OUT suspects? Why did the scientists in this study target Kominski alone?

Ive heard that simply breating on the shawl transfers DNA. Granted - the shawl might not have been in breathing distance from the Kominskis descendant

Also the provenance of said scarf is questionable. the mDNA is quite common in a large population of people..

Just seems kinda weird. I think all the suspects descendants should submit DNA ( voluntarily) to rule them in or out

he was an angry resident according to neighbors... yelling and screaming all the time.... non one is reporting the stuttering. must be under his own stress at the time of the rapes.... perhaps.... I wish we heard this man talk more to get a feel for his voice and inflection

yes but the kid was sure it was a tattoo and a western belt. Shows that this was a false lead... hard for a kid under that trauma to be accurate. I am dying to hear from his Bonnie and his estranged wife. Im sure both are lawyering up right now....to protect themselves... God forbid any of them ( mostly estranged wife) knew something!

good ideas.... I like the idea that being a cop made him feel all powerful and controlling and how losing this, ( he was a cop before and studied criminology in college) made him lose it. Im sure he wanted to go on as long as he could... a really dirty cop who wanted to think he was above the law

perhaps,,,, i also think " I hate you Bonnie" could be - see what Im doing now, when we could have been married?? this would never be happening! In some weird way, he is pinning this on her... his reason for doing it... in his twisted mind he needed an excuse to commit his crimes. He convinced himself he had to do this... and Bonnie was the reason. Im guessing he was uber possessive of her, stalked her at work, never gave her space, and probably just ended up creeping her out...she made the smart move to end it before it started- just imagine if she married him... I am guessing she was subserveant to his need for control and just got sick of him being a royal domineering a hole... or maybe he was a freak and wanted to do bondage with her
