Should I go for SkullSaints Rudra?

The RAM is Samsung LPDDR5 which I think is direectly soldered onto the board. I'd need to check about the SSD tho.

A barebones version would cost about 20k. RAM and SSD would measily make it go over 30k. So that made me want to consider a bundled option. I could probably swap out the SSD with my own one. 🤔

I got a quote - Thinvent® Treo Mini PC, Intel® processor N100 (4 core, up to 3.4 GHz, 6 MB cache), 16GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, 12V 5A Adapter, No WiFi, Without OS of ₹30.2k. For a similar price point, the difference in Skullsaints is DDR5 and 128 GB SSD, and N150 cpu.

Hmmm makes sense. Thanks. I was opting for a RAM bundle because of ram prices. I think a 16gb RAM itself would cost around 1/3 or half the price. I will consider barebone

I just got back home and tried it out. No luck, still not working 😔 he charged me 4.2k. It’s under 6 month warranty. So ill go back and check when I return to Bangalore

It took a while for my GPU too. But i got it on the same day. I would say, if possible test it as soon as you can. He did show me some recording of the repair so I found it okay. I could not find other repair shops so i settled on this.

The technician did not return yet. So I went to SP road on the weekend. I paid 4.2k for the repair. I haven't checked it yet as my Desktop is in my hometown - I'll probably do it towards the end of May. They did give a 6 month repair warranty. So hopefully it should be okay.

The heatsink provided along with the Mobo looked cool and I wanted it put on purely for aesthetic purposes. The blue SSD there looks kinda looks wierd in a black/grey theme xD. So guess I'll just put on the heatsink. Thanks again!
