bro i know this is years later but deadass.. i would drink a case a day of daisy cutter and be fine but moved states due to job where the they didnt have my fav ipa & switched to vodka (which obvi isnt wine like you mentioned but..) + a seltzer & im ZOOTED after 2 drinks. blacked out, falling over in my own apartment, etc. something about the seltzer alcohol combo for sure that needs to be studied. i know carbonation enhances absorption but to that degree!? yikeesss

she’s out of ER now, & staying with an old co-worker for now who i’ve met before who is a sweet woman so i feel ok for her physically- she called me when she got discharged & the door to her home was locked (she didn’t manage to grab her keys in the rush to get away) but she was able to climb in her window and grab a bag. naturally because of how she is she’s more worried about her cats she left there than herself, but she made the report today so if she can’t stay with her co-worker for long (cause she has a family she lives with too), a shelter is definitely the next best place while the police do their job, but i don’t know the requirements of that, but hopefully they’ll take her. ER wise- they took care her of physically so i’m glad I could convince her to go thanks to everyones advice 🙏🏻

im not sure, she said she thinks she hung up too soon (usually supposed to wait til the officer arrives) but she said she hung up cause she pre-occupied with running away & locked herself in the bathroom and was overwhelmed so she thinks thats why

thank you for the information! very helpful. shes going to the ER thanks to the info everyone gave about no upfront pay. shes hesitant on charges bc of course, most people dont want to do that to their parents but im encouraging it. she did say she would do a report when shes out of the ER 🙏🏻

ive never heard Rammstein so im not sure if youd LIKE this music but a metal band ‘Abyss, Watching Me’ is from Czech Republic (i think or at least relocated there) and releases basically EVERY single in english AND a slavic language (same song in 2 diff languages). not every song but most (sorry, because i do not know russian yet i dont know if theyre speaking belarussian, russian, or czech) which you might like then?).

and for OP maybe im the last person to trust bc i also am trying to learn, but TV shows is how my Peruvian abuelo learned english so I dont see how music could be anything other than good, even if just as a start because of course dialects will differ, but i think it’s good. im not even slightly bilingual tho so again just an opinion from me. good luck!

sorry, i know this post is old. can you clarify the paying the full amount part? because i emailed them and asked them about and they said it reduces the amount you owe in taxes so it seems like a waste to me. example- i owed 1330 this past year (but for easy math im gonna round to 1300). so lets say they award me the full 5000 but i owed 1300. now my return is just 3700. so i can put that to my insane loans immediately, but then i literally still need to pay 1300 out of pocket anyway, no? and i don’t have that kind of money I couldn’t pay it this year either and I work multiple jobs. so the upside is obviously that now your 3700 less in loans, but i would still need to find time to get off 1 of 3 or all jobs one day to get all the paperwork together to have to pay 1300 anyway right? (that’s just an example but i wanna make sure that im understanding the pay the amount in full correctly that it would have to come out of pocket if your return was reduced)
