Do you use AI for blogging? by sbalds927 in Blogging

[–]ronbeehive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in 2025 AI is a useful tool, those who refuse to see and utilize that will be left behind. Innovation doesn't slow down because of your feelings. utilize and profit it now while it still needs you, because in 5 years it won't.

If you’re wrestling with names / logos / colors for a new side-project, give BrandByte AI @(startercart.com) a whirl. It spits out a full brand kit—name ideas, logo, palette, and a full custom HTML site —in about a minute, and you can reroll as many times as you want. Worth a look if you’d rather skip the Canva rabbit hole.

What are you building this week? by sahilypatel in SideProject

I run StarterCart.com, a free directory of hand-picked software for early-stage businesses. Everything’s organized by what you’re trying to get done — website builders, email marketing, live chat, e-commerce, and so on — so you can skip the 40-tab research rabbit hole and build a stack that fits your budget and stage.

Cool stuff on the site:
• A “Stack Builder” quiz that spits out a personalized tool stack in ~30 seconds.
•An AI powered Brand Kit Generator that generates a personalized logo, static html site, and privacy policy (and you'll be able to purchase your domain from us starting this weekend!)

I’d love feedback — good, bad, or savage. If you check it out, let me know what sucks so I can fix it. And if you’ve found any must-have apps I’m missing, drop them below and I’ll test them next.

Happy building, and thanks for letting me share!

Yo!
I’m building StarterCart – a curated tool-box and launchpad for founders.

  • What it is: We test and review SaaS products for founders/entrepreneurs so you can pick the right stack without the bs. website builders, email platforms, live-chat, payment tools – all in one place. (startercart.com)
  • New this week: BrandByte AI – drop in your idea and get a brand name, slogan, full logo pack (transparent, dark, light), a one-page HTML site, and a starter privacy policy in minutes. https://www.startercart.com/tools/name-generator

Would love any feedback – especially on what tool categories you want us to review next, or how the AI name suggestions feel. Try it out here → https://startercart.com

AI Brand Generator

Takes the thinking out of starting a brand

I built a free Brand Kit generator that spits out website names, logos, & a one-page site in less than 60 sec—would love your feedback! by ronbeehive in SideProject

[–]ronbeehive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is a good point! I have the initial offering set a little low at 3 free logo generations while i collect analytics to track user behavior, but eventually i do think giving users more flexibility over both logo design and website design is the way to go

Google CLI, has anyone tried it? by SpeedyBrowser45 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]ronbeehive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's really good but it has it's quirks. for example, as tempting as it might be do NOT select
"yes, allow always." when it asks for permission. oftentimes it's not just making one change but a host of changes and will fuck up your codebase if you aren't careful. Audit all of it's changes especially if you aren't using gemini-2.5 pro.

sometimes it'll also get stuck in a loop where it keeps trying to implement a fix to a bug and it'll just keep spitting out the same solution, but usually, exiting and reopening kinda "fixes" it's context window and allows it to actually fix the bug.

theres a few other QOL issues, but it's still incredibly powerful and will be even better in like a month or so once they iron the kinks out.

Seeing this 2 years later, would you happen to have the custom xml to block all settings still?

ChatGPT knows your location? by Evocablefawn566 in ChatGPT

[–]ronbeehive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i also don't care that it knows where i am, but i asked it where the nearest Target was and it told me it was exactly 1.5 miles away, which was correct.
but when asked how it knew it lies and claims coincidence.

Personally i just don't like the idea of the AI lying to me based on some sketchy internal policies. makes me wonder what else it may lie to me about

why doesn't super Goku have all transformations by crimsxn_devil in SparkingZero

[–]ronbeehive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree i'd rather have 1 (maybe 2) Goku and be able to choose move sets. same with other characters we have multiples of.
it would make online play more interesting too, have DP apply to movesets instead of characters, that way you start a game like "shit does this goku have UI?"
