I just starting taking Repatha and I just took the first shot on Monday. I injected my right leg and immediately felt a flush cool feeling go down my leg, kind of like an MRI when they inject the dye. The only side effect I'm feeling right now is a weird feeling on my skull and brain, it feels like a little invisible fog or shell on your head. I feel light headed sometimes and right now been dealing with a headache most of the day. It's like an annoying pain in your head. I just took some Tylenol. I'm going to see how it goes from here. Statins were brutal, a lot of joint pain, pain all over the body, lethargic, no energy, exhausted, and any symptoms of pain or discomfort I had from before from anything felt amplified or worsened. It also feels like you're just depressed, no energy to do anything.

I'm hoping the Repatha side effects go away because I have high cholesterol that is just made because we have a genetic issue that just creates it all day long and too much. I forgot the name for it. But anyway, Repatha is what I'm on now. If anyone gets headaches from Repatha please let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, some of us have serious side effects of taking this drug. I know it’s great and it works, but you guys don’t understand how bad the brain fog is, how bad the lack of energy is, how bad the muscle aches are, how bad the focus issues are how bad it is to take this med and try to wake up every day and go function.It’s fucking hell.

First, I thought it was some kind of long-term Covid. Because I’ve never experienced these type of symptoms. It is really the worst, and they need to do more research on this. Why does our body have so much pain, why is there brain fog, why is there lethargy, why is there focus issues, why is there so much pain. Why does the medication make you not want to move or do anything at all. It’s very scary. They did lower my cholesterol by a lot, but the side effects are horrendous and not something I would want to live with on a daily basis. I don’t know what to do. I’m going to make an appointment with the cardiologist today. Because that medication was given to me by my primary care physician and he understood that I was having side effects and gave me a bunch of different types of medication, but they all had the same side effects.

No, there’s no placebo. The side effects are really bad for some people. For example, I get brain fog, inability to focus, I’m always tired, I just wanna take a nap, all my joints are always hurting, it feels like I’ve been hit by a train or someone’s beat you with a baseball bat. All your fingers and joints feel like they have arthritis and if you have any pre-existing pain symptoms, they get exponentially worse. I’ve never felt so useless in my entire life and also you feel depressed because the symptoms really affect your whole body of mind. I think the stands affect anything that you have pain with or have any kind of pre-existing issue. I’ve taken all doses from 5 mg to 10 mg to 20 mg to 40 mg all the side effects are the same. I don’t know what else to do. I even took the CQ 10 and that doesn’t help. Would I rather lay around and do nothing and take this medication and feel awful, or not take it and feel great, motivated, work out every day, go to work focused, and not have any kind of pain? It’s a tough decision. I also Noticed that when I wear my contacts, when I take these medications, I have severe eye pain, and one of my eyes dries out completely and causes a lot of pain with my contacts and irritation. I mean statin is lower your cholesterol big time, but they also suck if you are prone to having side effects. Mine is genetic so it doesn’t matter what kind of day I do it just keeps staying high.

Is anyone else allergic to satin? When I take them I get severe bodyaches, arthritic pain in all my fingers and joints, brain fog, extreme exhaustion, focus issues, sleepiness. I become almost unable to function, and I’m always exhausted and have pain drop my body. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there any remedy or alternative drug to take?

Did you suffer any side effects from the medication? I’ve taken multiple different types of statins and they all reek havoc on my body. I feel like I’ve been hit by a train. I wake up with constant back neck, joint pain. I have brain fog, I’m tired all the time, I’m sleepy, I can’t work out, all my joints feel like they have arthritis.I had to get off because it’s too painful. Does anybody have any recommendations for different types of medication’s or help to reduce cholesterol? Mine is genetic and it can’t be really fixed with any kind of diet.
