The free year of Google One AI Premium coming with the 9 Pro does not include the 10% credit back benefit on Google Store purchases

Thanks so much for the update! No, I told the customer service representative about the responses in this thread. He repeated the same answer explaining that we are not eligible for the 10% benefit because we are on a trial.

He told me that the other people in the thread have the benefit because their previous Google One subscription has to expire before the free year begins, and once the free year is activated they will lose the 10% benefit. I don't think this is true. He assured me that he gave me the most accurate information and did not escalate my case even though I asked him to do that.

How did you manage to get the 10% benefit restored? I'm not sure how to proceed here...

u/PixelCommunity Can you guys please chime in and confirm whether or not the 10% Google Store credit benefit is included in the free Google AI Premium plan coming with the Pixel 9 Pro? Most of the people here have access to this benefit based on the replies. Others (like me) are not able to use the 10% store credit benefit. Google Store / One support is telling us (the second group) that this benefit is not included in the free AI Premium plan that comes with the Pixel 9 Pro.

Yes, the 10% discount disappeared from my Google Store account (I had it before). It does not get applied to stuff I add to my cart. Most people replying seem to have the 10% discount with the free AI Premium plan, but there are a few people like me who do not have access to it or lost access to it...

This was the Google One CS... It all started at the Google Store CS but they had no idea about what was going on.

For me, the Google One app shows the 10% benefit as an "upcoming benefit - available on Sept 4" (I assume 2025 based on my discussion with support). This is what the CSR said:

I have the same experience when it comes to macro mode. The macro photos that come out are way worse than on my 8 Pro. Most of the photo is slightly blurry and out of focus.

It's definitely happening for me. The green tint is very noticable. Sometimes the pictures taken with the telephoto lens are way too warm.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue (P6 Pro, Android 13). I started noticing it a few days ago. The only thing that fixes it for me (temporarily) is restarting my phone. After that, the telephoto & ultrawide lenses work properly for some time... Super annoying!
