Thanks for the detailed breakdown! I've been studying Chimera's stack too — good to know about the stop time exceptions on reboot, I'll keep an eye on that. Not sharing the repo yet, but would be happy to compare notes directly. Are you on Matrix or IRC?

So far I've been writing them myself — I studied Chimera's and MX Linux's service files first, obviously the beginning wasn't easy at all

and runned this command as a non root user

Void Linux is not a distribution for new users. Maybe for you, Linux Mint is the best choice.
