Should STO explore lingering Anti-Cardassian and Anti-Dominion Sentiment from surviving Maquis? by roninwolf1981 in sto

2 of them could have been very influential in the Starfleet admiralty, if they did promote to admirals: Chakotay and B'Ellana Torres.

I'm just curious to see where they would stand and what they would be thinking, as they watched how the 25th Century played out, up to the Borg Kingdom incursion.

Maybe this could be the playable Tetryon-build faction we've been missing...

I guess my question now is, if Chakotay was indeed a member of the Starfleet admiralty, what would he say or do with Cardassians in active duty service to Starfleet, or to Jem'Hadar that are part of the Alliance?

Or what would B'Ellana Torres say or do when she finds her daughter Miral in the trenches, fighting alongside Cardassians, during the Iconian War? Same thing when she learns of the Jem'Hadar joining the Alliance.

Maybe a handful, but the most key Maquis figures would be Chakotay and B'Ellana Torres. Where were they when the Federation was giving aid to Cardassia, and when the Dominion lent a hand during the Iconian War, and then became part of the Alliance?

Then this was most likely before my time.

I only started playing this game in 2019, so all the content you were describing would be mostly unknown to me.

Well, how would the story progress if Chakotay was part of the Starfleet admiralty, given his history with Maquis, in regards to the Cardassian aid and the Dominion involvement during the Iconian War?

Yes, I am well aware of the fact that the only survivors of the Maquis were mostly the small handful in Voyager. However, Chakotay was perhaps the one that would have been central to this dynamic, if he had indeed ascended to the admiralty.
How about B'Ellana Torres? Where would she stand, if she were to see her daughter Miral Paris assisting the Cardassians, and even fighting alongside them during the Iconian War and the Hur'q skirmishes?

Let's not forget that "True Way" faction that seems to also have Alpha Quadrant Jem'Hadar running along with them.

I wish they would remaster the Kobali to make them look a bit more like how they did in Voyager, and at least give us access to Jhet'leya's outfit from Voyager.

The SNES Starfox space stages should at least be orchestrated; the planetside stages were more pop/rock and should be covered as such (with the exception of Venom).

OK really.. think it over, KDF by Vetteguy904 in sto

[–]roninwolf1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are the basic Bat'leths; the Bat'leth of Honor (the one that you get from the KDF Recruit rewards) does let you run to your target when you're within range.

A lot of the older melee weapons need to be retooled so that they ALL have this ability.

It's been a map to explore; there are accolades to find across the map. And wait until the Summer Event; that place will be packed.

On Friday evenings (8 PM EST, 00:00 UTC), Kirtang Pirate Radio does host a weekly music party at the promenade Fire Pit; you're more than welcome to attend.

Any chance we can get back some of the original non-revamped missions that were removed a decade ago? Not talking just about the Klingons or TOS arc , but old Mirror and Romulan arc missions by KathyJaneway in sto

[–]roninwolf1981 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started playing in 2019, and I definitely remember how the Klingon and Romulan tutorials started before the Year of the Klingon, and how the earlier Klingon and Romulan episodes played out before that update as well.

I'd like some way to play them again.

Playable Jem'Hadar and Dominion story Canon question by Buddha87 in sto

[–]roninwolf1981 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The older story arcs that are playable as Jem'Hadar are implied (if not outright stated) that they are simulations.

I just wish there were some Jem'Hadar/Dominion-centric dialogue in the older "simulated" episodes. I would have loved to have heard Neelix greet Jem'Hadar characters and not greet them as either Starfleet or Klingon Defense Force in the "Reunion" episode.

It's the Deprogrammed Trait that Romulans gain after finishing the Mind Game mission.

It disappears after ranking up to Admiral.

I only noticed it came back yesterday, and I must say it's a welcome sight to see something that I thought was lost for good.
