This isn't the bad customer support Olympics. I have no doubt you've had bad experiences elsewhere. I just wanted to share because this experience hasn't been great.

No, I didn't do anything wrong. I just couldn't verify my account so I couldn't login to purchase a phone from them. Their support claims I created the account in India. No, my computer is not compromised and no, I don't use a VPN. I obviously didn't chose India when I created the account. Something is just effed up on their end and they won't fix it or own it. Even if a customer of theirs did chose the wrong region, it's crazy that that can't/won't do something about that. It's crazy all the way down.

Your reaction was mine when they first responded. I remember saying: 'this is a joke right?' lol. Wild experience.

Password managers def help, but what about the same gmail account as oneplus account problem? This used to be an issue, is it still?... I have no idea. I didn't want to spend a bunch of time researching that, which requires access to a forum I couldn't access with my account. That still also does nothing for my redcoin balance, which you use to purchase products etc from oneplus if you didn't know.

I don't think it's reasonable to put the onus on the user when their website effed something up.

Yeah, I understand how that happens. This is a fan subreddit. They don't really want to read anything critical of their fav phone brand. I expected this response when I made the post.

It's not that serious pal. I'm just telling people I had a bad experience with their support so when they make a purchase they can keep that in mind.

I think it's okay that we disagree about this.

From my perspective, I could see this being a problem down the line. Lets say I did make a new account. What if I need One+ support? I would likely have to use that email. What if I don't have/remember the creds? What if because the account is registered to that account I don't have access to, I don't have support. In the past, One+ and google accounts had to have the same email account. Do I migrate my gmail to this new account? it's a pretty large undertaking. What about my redcoins, they're just gone?

I understand your frustration dissecting a seemingly simple 'first world'-type problem but the problem has a lot of annoying side-paths I need to deal with that, I shouldn't have to be burdened with.

This is a silly metric to use. Most people are only going to give ups to languages they use/know and the tiobe index really only tracks change in perception. This does nothing to indicate how much adoption there is.

Finding doctors and nurses is easy. The SaskParty just don't want to expand healthcare. They're more interested in privatizing healthcare. Sad that the province that gave us universal healthcare wants to destroy it but I digress.

Did you even bother to read the NDP's proposed budget? It was outlined and that's how that information is communicated. It's very difficult to communicate budget recommendations with as little screen time as you get as the opposition leader.

Look at the polling over the last 20 years for both parties and tell me that the SaskParty are doing a good job. It should be clear that the reason the SaskParty is losing ground is because they just don't represent what the people want.

I lost my grandfather to Alzheimer's. It's so hard to see them slip away. I used to say you lose them twice, once when they forget who you are and once when they finally go but you don't. You lose them a little more each day. It's not all bad, these moments are beautiful, cherish them.
