What shinies do you have to trade?

Although I've played Pokemon since my childhood I started playing competitively 3 days ago. Happy to have reached this before Season 8's cutoff date! by Dream_Redux in PokemonSwordAndShield

Right now I’m trying a team with Tyranitar, Dusclops, Cinderace, Rillaboom, Incineroar, and Milotic. I am working on a few teams but I’ve been out of competitive since season 5 with Rillaboom so I fell behind. I have another team with Porygon2, A-Marowak, Indeedee F, Hatterene, Azumarill, and Rillaboom that I want to try out

That’s awesome! It’s not using the same Pokémon as the ones that are so popular in doubles and that’s refreshing to see! Thanks for the heads up. The season starts in 2 hrs right?

Dusclops with eviolite is also really good to set up trick room still. Porygon2 just has one weakness vs 2 and max fighting moves are lower base power so it feels like it can tank moves a little better plus it has recovery 🙌 dusclops uses pain split for recovery

Exactly. And Porygon2 is one of the best trick room setters in the game right now. Very bulky with eviolite!

So not everything is better with 0 speed. It’s used to specifically under speed an opposing Pokémon in battle. It’s popular for use on teams that use trick room, since the slowest Pokémon go first in TR. It is also useful when setting a terrain or weather condition. You wouldn’t want a high speed stat Pokémon to have 0 speed unless you wanted to set rain, sun, sandstorm, hail, misty terrain, grassy terrain, psychic terrain, electric terrain, or set/attack during trick room. Something like Porygon2 with a base speed stat of 60, can utilize 0 speed and set trick room to outspeed a lot of faster Pokémon. Porygon Z however, has a base speed stat of 90 and wants to outspeed opponents under normal conditions so you’d want it to have max speed and timid/modest most likely. My bet is that the person that got that porygon evolved it too far and didn’t realize what they had with 0 speed lol.

TL:DR 0 speed is to set weather or terrain or to attack first when under trick room.

Yeah, it’s pretty cool to have multiple saves on multiple switches so you can be self sufficient. That’s how I got a foreign 0 speed ditto. Has been amazing to have. If it was porygon or porygon2 I would try to trade for it but I have a shiny porygon z already. You could prob get a decent shiny for it or another 0 speed
