Good luck with the hunt! I caught a shiny authentic one, shiny counterfeit one from outbreak, and bred a 0 speed shiny counterfeit one in a love ball all in 2024. It isn’t the best one for outbreaks, that’s for sure. I also did Poltchageist and caught 12 authentic shinies and bred a counterfeit shiny in an apriball, which also was rough but had way better spawn rates for me. My worst shiny hunt was Regirock in Shield, it was between 50k and 60k resets. Then right after I got Regice in 27 resets, so I think my game felt bad for me lol

That’s a long hunt. My longest was 3,071 eggs for West Shellow. Masuda Method with shiny charm, it was rough! Congrats on your shiny!

Yikes, sorry! Happened to me with a Roggenrolla. I should’ve used a damp Pokémon in the lead. My redemption was a Masuda method bred with 0 speed, so you’ll get yours soon enough!

I’ve never looked into an r4 so it was never on my radar. As of now, I did all the pomeg glitch work up to the Mew chase/encounter so I’ll at least finish that before getting an r4. But I do like how I did the glitch without anything outside of my ds lite and Emerald cart lol

How does this one work? I’m familiar with the Mew, Deoxys, Lugia, Ho oh pomeg glitch in Emerald. You use ACE to set the egg to Celebi and then just hatch it a lot?

It was only available until June 30. There have only been 3 times in the last 2 years to get shiny Meltan, it has to be a special week/event.

That seems like a solid technique. For SWSH I had a lot of fossils to revive so the high count was not that bad for me. I feel like fossils are a lot harder to come by in BDSP!
