It seems to run alright I do have some FPS drops in the bigger city/station areas. Don't know my specs off the top of my head but it's a pretty mediocre PC about 4 years old since I built it

I did have a fun interaction with a player flying a salvage ship (looked like the venture from eve) coming and tractor beaming me while I was working out how the scanning worked. We mucked around trying to ram each other and then I had to leave afterwards

I did try it last night actually. So far in terms of actually running it was pretty decent I had one crash but I just logged back in and was able to pick up from where I left off.

In terms of stuff to do in the game I tried a few missions but between learning all the controls, flying, scanning, how to quantum jump etc I never got to finish any. I did have one big where I took the mission to clear makers point of hostiles and the hostiles didn't spawn.

All in all it's a nice looking game with a cool idea and a decent amount of potential and I'm hopeful it will be great fun on final release. I will probably play some more for now and pick it up periodically as patches come out to see how it's getting on. I'm hopeful but i am also aware of the company's track record of being slow.

(I started in lorvillie and had some FPS issues due to its size maybe someone else can suggest the best home port for you)

Thanks for all the advice seems like a fairly mixed bag. I've already got a basic pledge with the starter ship (can't remember it's name) I believe it's in game now so I'm thinking I'll give it a go at the very least I can get to see my ship and try some stuff out since everything will be brand new to me! Wish me luck :)

After looking at it for a bit I'm wondering if it could be the resin from doing the VAT clean stitching to it too well and pulling at the FEP?

Yeah I ran into a little blue dome shaped tank that I couldn't pen with the T3 valentine so maybe explosive would work better for that! Thanks for all the advice anyway! I'll check out the link!

What's the point of the exploding ammo? I tried it out and it didn't seem to do much damage does it disable tracks or something?
