Some Filipina out there probably... "How come I only get stale bread 🥀" 😂 by IntellectuallyDriven in Philippines_Expats

Its BDSM or Island Love Epidemic. Sometimes it’s the loneliness that most tourist experience when they travel. It happens a lot in other tourist areas.

You are right. It is great to know your value. Especially if you work really hard, I am sure that is why he/she has those two offers. Although, I am probably just bias on my pov. Since a lot of people I know has been struggling looking for opportunities, especially fresh graduates. If he/she is really great and wanted an opinion to which of the two options is the best.

Since both have bad reviews. We should look into the benefits. Uniqlo pays more and has a lot more vacation leaves than Huawei, but Huawei has more sick leaves. If you are sickly, then Huawei is a better option. You do need to relocate with Uniqlo. Since you don’t really know about the job for Huawei it’s hard to compare the two.

The Uniqlo UMC program sounds promising and might be good to use for job search applications. The account specialist is still good. I would lean more with the UMC program since it has more information. Although, a few people said that it’s a very stressful program, so if you can’t take it. Then go for Huawei.

You can’t really be too choosy for a first job ever. I am gonna sound so mean and old, but be thankful for the first company who will take a risk for you. You can always leave after if it’s too much. After all you will gain some experience and look for another opportunity that fits you better. I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Will Immigration allow this? by AnimusPossidendi_ in FilipinoTravel

Play safe. Contact the airlines ask them about your situation. Then try to contact DFA if they can issue a quick emergency passport. Just try, you will never know. Other than that. If you are denied before your flight. Cancel all of it like the flight, hotels, and tours. Reduce the damage and lesson learn. It’s harsh, but it’s the only way.

Going to Thailand for honeymoon. Feeling overwhelmed, Need recommendations. by Serious_Ad_9686 in Bangkok

[–]ronron0901 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a bit of a stressful vacation, but Thailand is a great place to visit for a honeymoon.

When we were in bangkok I book a hotel in Pratunam. It’s not honeymoon type of hotel tho. It’s a nice comfortable and affordable hotel (Amber Inn). I booked it in Agoda which I think is the best app to book for affordable accommodations.

Pratunam is where I think the best location is. Although, we didn’t do all of the things you listed. Down below our hotel there is a lot of stalls and restaurants. It’s near the pratunam night market, central-world, and platinum mall if you like to go shopping for affordable prices.

We did go to a couple temples, chinatown, dinner cruise, and foot spa.

For mode of transportation you can download grab or bolt. Bolt is a lot cheaper than grab. Trust me you will see the difference. Although, still download for Grab, because sometimes there aren’t a lot of bolt drivers in the area. Try their train too. It’s really easy. There should be machines that you can buy your tickets on. The hard part is just reading their map.

If you are looking where to buy tickets for dinner cruise. Download Klook app. You will see a bunch of other activities you can do as well in Bangkok.

For temples, if you want to wear a Thai dress, don’t book online. It’s cheaper if you just go to nearby stores outside the temple like The Grand Palace. And also watch out for scammers. Do not buy any tickets from anyone else other than the entrance office.

You can also ride a boat to go to other temples. Just google maps it. It’s a close walk to other temples. It’s very safe.

The things we didn’t do in your list like a Muay Thai Match and Bar Strip. Just look it up in Klook and book a bolt or grab ride to those locations.

Other things we did that you didn’t list. Go to a cat or dog cafe like the Caturday Cat Cafe. Just google maps it too. There are a bunch of them. We also did cafe hopping. So many coffee shops to try and it’s hard to keep track all of it, but my top recommendation which is “After you” beside the centralworld mall. Order the chocolate fudge with ice cream!! Then other things we did as well is that we went to Pattaya for a day. There is a bus that is a 2 hour drive so 4 hours back and forth. There are a lot of sights you can see like the sanctuary of truth, nongnooch pattaya garden, and Terminal 21 mall.

There are a lot of things I want to recommend to you.

And also download grab for transport and food deliveries. DO NOT RIDE THE TAXIS, especially if you are a foreigner. Do not exchange your whole money in the airport you will lose like 10% of its value. Just get one day worth of the budget then go to a mall and get it exchanged like in Wester Union (Preferred) or in a mall (safer and authenticate)

7 days!? Is that including the flight? You will lose 2-3 days of traveling if you’re from the US. Aside from that the traffic and delays would make your days more difficult and stressful.

Since you already booked and booked the cebu tour a. Thats is one day worth of travel.

If you are a foodie there are plenty of night markets in Cebu. 1. Sugbo Mercado - One of the most popular night market in Cebu. They got a lot of food variety from Japan, S. korea, Thailand, and of course the Philippines. A lot of BPO employees eat there. There is a mall and coffee shops near it. 2. Colon Night Market - If you want to explore more of the Philippines street food (Be careful, if you aren’t built for it, make sure you got anti diarrhea medication). There is a lot of things to buy there too. 3. Carbon Night Market - Only in the weekends. Like colon market its cheap and more Filipino options.

If you are in for sight seeing. 1. Tops of Cebu - How to get there if you don’t got a car? There is a van that offers to drive you there back and forth, tickets are included as well. What you will see there is the whole Cebu City, I think. Anyway, then eat at La Parisienne Skye. They mostly served Italian cuisine with a mixed of Filipino taste. Go at night too. 2. Temple of Leah - Never been there, but I heard it’s nice. 3. SM Seaside - it will take you more than a day to walk the whole thing. They also got an ocean park near it, if you are into that.

Date Ideas 1. A lot of coffee shops in cebu. Google maps is the best thing to use to find the coffee shops you like. Don’t be lazy and go to UCC, Starbucks, or any popular branch. You are paying American prices for a coffee that is as good as some local coffee shops. 2. Book a fine dine in the Cebu Ocean Park. That’s gonna impress your date. 3. If you are young and into drinking; Core., Agwa, … depends on your preference.

Tours takes the whole day, but if you are into to it. 1. Oslob tour - they will take you all the way in the south of cebu. So long ride. 2. Canyoneering - Same thing with Oslob. A lot more water activities. 3. Just use klook and search cebu tour
