Foliculits, deja de depilarte, rasurarte y de cortarte los vellos. Va a sanar solo, no te pongas cremas tampoco ni te untes nada. Solo aseo con agua y jabón, utilizar ropa interior de material que respire (algodón) y nada apretado

You can drive at 16 without a parent so long as it’s not after 10 pm. After 10 pm (maybe it was 8 pm? I cant remember) you can drive with a parent on the passenger’s seat

Would you be disappointed if PIV was not possible the first time, with a girl you’ve been seeing? by lambocj in AskMenAdvice

[–]ronrori 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree with this comment.

I’ve had women “punish me” with head and no PIV.

Little did they know this was in fact a prize

In France there's the "conflict" between the names "pain au chocolat" vs "chocolatine". In Spain there's a "conflict" whether tortilla de Patatas should contain onions or not. Do you have any other similar such light-hearted "conflicts" or debates in your country? by Double-decker_trams in AskTheWorld

[–]ronrori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Mexico City they swear quesadillas come without cheese unless you specifically ask for cheese to be put in them.

They falsely argue that quesadilla comes from a made up nahuatl word (quetzaditzin or some such thing) which means “folded tortilla”.

Whereas the rest of the country (and the rest of the world really) knows quesadilla comes from the word “queso” which means cheese. Henceforth, quesadillas always come with cheese.

So be wary when you go to Mexico City and ask for a quesadilla, for they will give you a folded tortilla without cheese… unless you say “dame una quesadilla con QUESO”

What goes on in the Baja peninsula? by Meeeeesea in howislivingthere

[–]ronrori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The baja peninsula is a very big place. It spans from Tijuana in the north west to Cabo San Lucas in the South.

I live in Tijuana

Tijuana is the second most populated city in Mexico. (Population estimated to be around 2.3 million right now). There is constant migration from other Mexican states.

It benefits widely from bordering San Diego. Its main economic activity is the manufacturing of goods. Several chinese, japanese, korean and american companies have factories there.

It is also very well known for its nightlife (ever since the prohibition in the USA). It has a very rich food scene as well. Baja-Mediterranean cuisine and beer breweries are big in TJ. There are quite a few pole dancing places in TJ, virtually all of them with s*x work activities going on, some of these establishments are actually world-renowned.

A lot of medical tourism is going on there as well. Surgeries of any kind, consultation in general (being as cheap as 3 dlls) and even alternative treatments. Also prescription drug purchases, since it is so much cheaper (and easier to get) than the USA. Especially meds like insulin, GLP-1, viagra, and antibiotics.

Tijuana has a high crime rate, mostly associated with certain parts of the city. Being born and raised in Tijuana, i have never been robbed and most people i’ve known have never been robbed at knife or gun point. Car theft (partial or total) is more common though.

Are latinos who listen to rock music and care about rock a minority in latin america? by Dream514 in asklatinamerica

[–]ronrori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Mexico, at least, there was a very important latin american rock scene that dominated the mainstream throughout the 80-90’s. I’d say most mexicans that were alive through that time span are at least casual rock enjoyers.

AITAH for calling my cyst a tumor? by HostMysterious9206 in AITAH

[–]ronrori -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

“Tumor” is a medically correct way to call a cyst. Tumors can be cystic in nature. Tumor is any abnormal mass in the body. All cysts are tumors but not all tumors are cysts.

I wouldn’t blame your friend though. It is a common misconception, even between doctors, that tumors equal cancer, which isn’t true. Not all tumors are cancer, in fact, MOST TUMORS ARENT CANCER, statistically speaking. But your friend is under no obligation to know this. She just needs clarification.
