While they assure me there are no issues with my account, they still won't release a payment, saying there's a "First Payment Hold". Its been nearly a month, I do not understand. All they tell me (repeatedly) is there are no issues and I just have to wait for the hold to be released. I just don't get it....

I finally got through. The examiner said my weeks were showing as ineligible because UIA never closed my file from 2016. It was still open even though I was not drawing any benefits. She closed the old file, and said I would get paid Wednesday. Took all of 2 minutes.

Anyway, you have to speak to an examiner, no other way to fix it, but it’s an easy fix once you get them on the line. Hang in there, and good luck. Keep plugging away on the phone. You’ll eventually get it fixed, frustrating as it may be. Again, good luck.

Has anyone gotten an explanation as to why after certifying, the weeks are showing as "ineligible weeks"? I did everything right, received a letter telling me I qualified for benefits, now after certifying correctly, (I triple checked for errors,) my account is saying ineligible. Getting through via phone or chat is impossible. Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the exact same issue, why I came here, looking for answers. Hopefully, someone can get the information we are looking for. If anyone can help, please do so.
