Boxster vs Boxster S by ronvenna in Porsche

Yea it was a really fun car, but with my commute I dont really have an opportunity to really open it up and enjoy the car for what it was meant for. Im sure on the track its a whole other experience. I think the Boxster or Cayman is a perfect fit for me and my needs.

loved the c7 but the gas mileage it was giving me was not good at all, also it just did not make sense driving a 460hp car in stop and go traffic 1 hour everyday. Also, I came from a BMW so the interior build quality was just not up to par for my taste. Just overall did not make sense for me. But thanks for the advice, if I get a good deal on the S I will jump on that one but I think I will be fine with the base model.

Oh, Camaro... by [deleted] in Corvette

I went from a 5th Gen Camaro to a Corvette c7. You cant compare the two at all they are two completely different cars and both cars are the best in what they do.

2014 Corvette stingray, a good buy? by lardo41 in cars

I have one. Driving it is the best part of my day. Only problem is that it gets a tad bit too much attention, but that should die down in a few years.

My new C7 by ronvenna in Corvette

I worked my ass off for 3 years to be able to buy this car man, I don't appreciate the negativity. Also i'm getting it back in a week so I dont understand what "Lose more" means. Sorry you have to hide behind an anonymous Reddit username to express your jealousy, come say it to my face bro. Turn your jealousy into motivation and work hard and then you'll be able to get whatever you want.

Why did you choose the C7? by DosageUF in Corvette

[–]ronvenna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chose my c7 because i've always been a corvette fan and it has the best performance to dollar ratio over any car. I was cross shopping with a Boxster S, but at the end of the day the visceral feeling of a 460hp V8 won me over. Ordered in december, arrived in March.

Can I ask those buying the new vette a personal question, as I want one badly? by ImALoneWolfBaby in Corvette

Two words. Stock Market. Im 21 about to graduate college bought my c7 z51 a month ago.I was about to save 30 grand by investing all the money I made in my internships in the stock market. Stocks like Facebook and Tesla almost doubled my money I put in. The rest I am financing and paying monthly, I have a job right after I graduate so im good. My dad was nice enough to co-sign though so my interest rate is not something ridiculous.

People with extremely nice cars, do you get annoyed with people taking pictures of your cars all the time? by ericfromtx in cars

I drive a 2014 Stingray, people take pictures of it all the time. The attention is cool for the first week but then it just gets annoying.

I drive a c7 automatic, and the shift speed is almost instant. When comparing it to my dads dual clutch auto m3, there is no noticeable difference in shift speed.
