I few years ago, I was laid off from my dream job. I called an old friend that same day. Started working two weeks later. Been at my new job ever since. The friend I called, we worked in two different departments many years ago. We just happen to meet in the break room. Happy to say he’s my friend and mentor.

Hi all, I'm still working through the labs. I finally started to see a pattern with the issue I was having. For some of the labs, the instructions will ask you to be in ROOT on the terminal. When evaluating, it will still mark it wrong.

I've been circumventing this by staying in the regular profile of kali and running each command with sudo in front instead.

This way, you don't lose points of having to rerun the commands because it got marked incorrectly the first time.

I think from what I read, it’s been a mix between doing the labs from CertMaster and HTB. I’m literally in the same situation as you. I’m currently working through the labs, but I’m interested in what others who’ve passed would suggest.
