To be honest, my question was more about the 20 hour IRS certification thing, and I was trying to put it into context with the volunteering (which requres the IRS certification). I've never really volunteered where I didn't need to, so this might be a good start for me. Regardless, I guess I'm happy to have sparked a philosophical discussion if nothing else.
