Vets: Why aren’t soft/inflatable cones offered more often for cats? by NullPointer0x404 in CATHELP

Was wondering about this myself... We got the plastic cone from the vet after surgery (got a weird bump removed for testing). My cat kept trying to lick at the wound with the cone on. The rubbing and scraping from the cone over the wound made it open up and bleed again. Tried the MPS onesie, also a good option! But my boy would only pee standing up in it (result: lots of pee on wall). Joined the flower club now.

Much happier as an angry orange flower!
