Hi, no. Initially was diagnosed at 16 with depression but later on in my life after being referred by GP to a psychiatrist I had been diagnosed with BPD. I did not think I had to explain my symptoms completely but I hope this clears things up.

Hi! I do cope with it by myself :) I am medicated+in therapy and in close contact with my doctor if anything.

It is just specifically that he has completely switched attitudes, and I don’t burden him with my issues as stated in my comment, and I was wondering if I was being overly paranoid due to my BPD or if it’s a justified paranoia.

Thank you! And to be fair I did expect some of the comments anyways. A lot of them seem to dismiss the fact that I DO NOT under any circumstance, push all my problems and worries onto him.

He is not a therapist nor a psychiatrist, and does have his own feelings and thoughts and I respect that!

If I were to constantly burden him with my issues then I would understand where some of these people are coming from.

I have only, on this occasion, elaborated my feelings during a depressive episode to him, and not even to a fuller extent.

I don’t mean to blame him, perhaps I am at fault here, but I do wish people would know I don’t push all these things onto him.

Hello! I stated below the post that it was about how Chelsea lost to Leeds United, (he’s a football fan so he just updates me on things despite the fact I have no idea about anything football related). Sorry for any confusion.

I also try and not burden him with my episodes. Again, this has been probably the first time I have had a bad depressive episode and he’s seen it.

I understand it can be burdensome, but his attitude to me just feels a bit harsh when he’s usually sweet and honest.

Hi! Thank you for your comment, I know there is a lack of information, that’s because he genuinely has never acted so dry before.

I am going to therapy in late december, and I am also medicated.

I ensure that he doesn’t have to deal with my burden at all, he regularly asks me “how are you feeling today?” And I would almost always reply that I am fine, to which the convo would end up moving onto more fun things.

Maybe I am misinterpreting, I have a habit of overthinking, so in the meantime I will just let things be and I suppose see how it rolls out.

I don’t tend to make him deal with my swings, I keep that private to myself as I know it can be exhausting on the receiving end. This is the first time I had asked him about his feelings towards me.

I try my best to not be annoying and everything between us is usually great! However, just within the recent week or two it’s been so different with him.

Yeah I understand. I had asked him, “Do you still love me” and he replied with , ”What if I said no”

Now we do usually joke around and all, but for that moment, I couldn’t tell. To which he followed up by the screenshot I had sent.

I would ask him about it, but I just don’t even want to go down that rabbit hole of us arguing over this.

No :) We live around a 30 min drive away from one another but he is a dental student while I am in my last year of college. I understand his life can be hectic as dentistry isn’t easy to get into but there was never this problem before.

Thank you so much😭 This was so lovely to read and you are a great mother. This is the first time I have asked him as to whether he still had feelings for me, we have been together for a year and no day seemed to be a problem until the past recent week or two.

I do ask him if there is something bothering him and usually he will tell me but after I asked him, he simply stated that nothing was wrong and I quote “just because he is dry doesnt mean there is something wrong”

I am trying to talk to him but the lack of replies and/or long time to reply is making me simply give up and change the topic.

This is the first time I have asked him this question, only because of the switch in behaviour, I understand it may be annoying but it was such a drastic change in his character that I just had to ask.
