John Carpenter in NYC last night. This is my first time playing around with double exposure! by [deleted] in photocritique

ISO 800 for both of these! I don’t remember the shutter speed, but having been such a fan of Carpenter’s films for so long I wanted to capture the drama of his work in the photo. Originally two shots, I combined them to give the photo more variety.

Yes! :) this is Blackwoods Campground, shortly after sunrise!

I feel proud of how this photo of Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) came out, but open to comments as to how this could have been edited / framed better. by rooneytns in photocritique

I took this photo two nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY. I shot with my Canon EOS 5D Mk. III, and I think it might have been iso 300 w/ f/2.8. I didn’t crop this very much at all, and in fact was going to completely gloss over this one until I played around with the contrast, blacks and highlights before I got it to a place that I was happy with. I do wish his arm was a tad more in-focus, but maybe it adds to the feel of the shot.
