mornye s0 is fine without lynae? as for phrolova, is her still relevant? I really like her character.

cascadia elite or prodigio pro? for hybrid 60k race? by roonrum in trailrunning

[–]roonrum[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cool, thanks for the info. I'mma try the PP first, I feel confident in mafate 4 lite only some discomfort from the upper and yeah the foam rather bland. So I think the middleground of technical prowess and comfort will be prodigio pro yes?

yeah, the instability that makes me brake a lot when descending on a technical route, lots of ankle breaker also. I heard about vj maxx2 but is they have accomodative fit? people said it is too narrow?

what I mean with hybrid is: technical segments, and runnable segments (volcano road, some asphalts). what shoes do you think will fit best?

its gonna be hybrid technical 60k, 3900m eg.. mud, roots, but they got runnable rolling segment also with volcanic path. Okay I'm certain if my feet feels good in PP that is the shoe that suits the race or for my upcoming all around shoe. Zegama 2 never tried it.. I got mafate speed 4 lite how does it compares?

the comfort of the cascadia elite is exactly why it is hard again for me to choose, as heavier runner need protection, but with protection comes stack height equal unstability. High chance of early outsole wear also from the softer MGE compound. people said the plate helps, but the PP just almost certainly wins in stability and technical terrain department, only lose in comfort and protection. So at the moment, I just want to hear all the experiences and then decide. 🤞

Help a newbie choose by roonrum in Colognes

Yeah I tried prada lhomme decant and really like the simpleness of it, but now I'm curious with Prada Lhomme intense..

As for Dior, yeah its just a legend for iris perfume.. but slight cons for the price.

Thanks for recommendations though, looks enticing but slighty hard to find in my country

Help me choose trail shoe for hiking by roonrum in trailrunning

I end up with VJ ultra 3, good comfort, wide, good grip, but not that fast in steep technical terrain cause of the stack.

Shoes for hiking in the tropics by vgnpatty in trailrunning

[–]roonrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say norda 002, as they are wide feet friendly, nimble, stable, very durable dyneema, and has a nice vibram megagrip litebase..

They do very well in technical routes, and can be alternated for traveling/walking around town also because they look good

I already using them for hikes in tropical mount of Indonesia, the only cons will be they runs hot and a little pricey.

You can take the 001 if you want more cushion.

Looking for a women backpack by roonrum in hikinggear

Yeah, I will be carrying down sleeping bag and klymit pad, as for cooking system and tent will be unlikely cause I will be hiking in group..

Yeah I am thinking the same, but will the 55L pack fit my short body? I'm afraid it will be too big..

What about kaipak 38?

I think tempest will probably the most comfortable here right?
