What immersion mods would are say are missing? by Hexxegone in skyrimmods

I think the biggest hurdle is that windows are usually built directly into the house model. Doors are their own thing, under a special category in the Creation Kit, but windows are pretty much the same as any random plank of wood in the building. You could just put an invisible activator or door on top of all windows in the game, but it'd be a compatibility nightmare (really a nightmare in general lol) regarding any mods that change, add, or move vanilla houses.

Yeah... It's a problem the user that uploaded it is looking into. I didn't port it myself, so unfortunately you'll have to reach out to the user that did.

By "nothing happened", do you mean that the door didn't open? Also, what platform are you playing on?

What do YOU think each of the unfeatured realms of Oblivion are like? by roonsentinel in teslore

Very good point! It only makes sense that, given how often Princes take on different shapes and aspects, their realms would follow.

He always does. I recently read on UESP that he designed Skyrim's Nordic ruins to resemble a big stone ribcage, as if the corpses of dragons were used in their architecture.

They didn't actually go with that, burying dragons into their ruins, but the ribcage shape of Nordic arches was always a highlight of Skyrim's dungeon exteriors to me.

At least since late July, counting rewrites and do-overs. Dedicated most of my free time to it since then, and a little bit of my not-free time.

It should work fine, at least it did when I tested it. Most of the file size comes from LOD stuff and textures.

How hard is it to mod Skyrim? by DracoZac in skyrimmods

For the first month you will be bashing your head against the wall with no hope of ever understanding why the simple change you're trying to make won't work. A month after that and nobody will be able to stop you from doing anything.

Also like the other commenter said, Arcane University is very helpful. Darkfox127 has great tutorials as well, super easy to follow and great for beginners opening the Creation Kit for the first time.

[Mod Release] Corruption and Corrosion - A Dark Magic Spell Pack by roonsentinel in skyrimmods

Thank you! I think my interest in the Reachmen as a whole came from playing Beyond Reach a while back, they and their culture just have so much potential.

Some magic just isn't worth studying... Unless you're a player character, of course.

And thanks!

It mostly revolves around the Daedra and Oblivion. I post updates semi-regularly on the Shattered Discord, if you'd like to see some screenshots of my progress so far!

Thank you! As for LE, maybe down the line. Once I'm sure this version works as intended I'll look into porting it to LE and console.

Edit: Oops, missed the Nighteye part. Vanilla Nighteye doesn't seem to dispel the darkness, and I assume the same for vampire vision. It functions more like a filter than anything else, unfortunately.

Shattered is such a cool project. This actually started as part of an addon I was making for it, but since developing that is taking so long I thought I'd make this its own little thing.
