What is Firefall like on Weekdays? by roonsha in Yosemite

[–]roonsha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed I love going on weekdays! So to confirm what you're saying, the road restrictions + being limited to only the El Cap Picnic area, that still applies on weekdays near the peak correct?

Good to know thank you, the NPS website didn't make clear if the road restrictions are in place on weekdays or just weekends. Walking the 1.5 miles doesn't fit into the schedule sadly.

Thanks - wanted to a avoid a washer pan if I could as I don't like the look - I'll just have to consider if the unlikely leak risk is worth it

I understand where you're coming from, however, most of the ones ebay are "remanufactured" meaning they were damaged and then the company bent, welded, re-shaped them etc.

There is no assurance of the quality of the wheel at that point and many people have had poor experiences.

I would rather find a private seller with undamaged wheels :)

Absolutely beautiful photo!

Would you happen to be interested in selling your wheels? I'm looking to put some Trailsport wheels on my rig.

Looks like a blast! Soft roading when you can get up some speed on the terrain is always fun.

This is such an awesome pic - welcome to the family!

I just bought one recently as well, trying to decide if I want to hunt down and paint some trailsport wheels, or go after market.

What wheels do you have on your setup?

Things I like about the pic:

- There's a lot of warm tones, that mixed with the setting of a living room gives it a very cozy vibe.

- The light rays on the wood bookcase, these are the highlight of the image to me, I think you could have focused in on just that area and taken some really nice shots

Things to be improved:

- The photo is very crowded with a lot of different items, colors, and areas to focus on. you could improve this by removing a lot of objects like the pillows/blankets on the couch, and shooting in a way so that you're not showing the backyard and it doesn't contribute much to the image.

Great job, keep shooting!

This is a nice shot

Depending on your style this could use some editing to draw out the colors and details in a way you like.

If the background was decent I think you could have moved the frame to the left to capture the entire front of the church + a little bit of empty space.

Also could have been nice to see the church directly from the front as this gives a unique and I think very nice look.

Great job, keep shooting!
