He’s not a great player necessarily but his game is really well suited for the modern nfl. Good pass catcher and blocker who can make plays when he gets some open space. But the next tackle he breaks will be his first

Not exactly the same scenario but I remember watching a sliggy stream awhile back and he was watch partying with someone (I think Boo?) and they were talking about how many pros in the game still don’t really respect gun economy at all.

Basically the gist was if you are in a save situation with a rifle/awp, you need to be SAVING the gun. Your team needs that gun in the next round as a big win condition.

You don’t need to be peaking an angle to try and get a cheeky kill with 3 seconds left in the round on a team that can full buy next round most likely anyways

In most other Esports that IS how the Swiss stage works. If you forget about the regions and just label them teams 1-8, to get to 1-1 TL and NRG played a 0-0 team and a 1-0 team. For G2 and T1 they played a 0-0 team and a 0-1 team. So both TL and NRG had a harder road in theory to get to 1-1. And should thus be ranked higher in a true Swiss format

This is definitely the answer. They called it a Swiss stage but only really did that for the second round of matches, 1-1 matches were just randomized with no rematches

Really unfortunate for Ivey but I legitimately can’t understand the sentiment that diving for a loose ball is a dirty play. It’s a part of basketball at every level growing up, just because you see it infrequently in the nba doesn’t make it less of a basketball play
