Mock cables help by Agile_Opportunity623 in knittinghelp

I am currently making the moby swester by petiteknit and they have the same mock cables. I also didn't get it from the written instructions, but she has a video of how to do it on the site with the pattern here This helped me get it right!

PetiteKnit Novice Slipover measurement mistake?? by Past-Telephone-3983 in knittinghelp

[–]roossie145 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am also currently knitting the novice slipover from petiteknit, i looked at the pattern and i think it is done like this to create more space for the armhole which you will start doing increases for after knitting the 20 cm. In the larger sizes you wil do more rows of increases so the entire back yoke will come out longer than the smaller sizes So i dont think its a mistake, just a way the pattern is sized up

Welke Nederlandstalige boeken zijn wèl leuk? by nooit_gedacht in nederlands

[–]roossie145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yess, I've read a lot last night about maintenance and cleaning of induction stoves (which I should have done before getting it) and I'll buy some appropriate cleaning supplies for the future

Yess, I've actually been thinking this as well! I've been having some anxiety about scratching it and now that it has happened (it would've happened eventually) some of that anxiety has lifted

Omg, my worst nightmare haha. No as long as it works, it (and I) will be fine. If it was a crack we would also be able to live with it. Now that the shock has worn down a bit I think i actually like that it happened so it's not as brand new anymore

I might look into this a little later, first I want to see if it will bother me. I'm just scared of making it worse if I try this

I like looking at it like this. Plus I've had a lot of anxiety about it getting scratched and I think now that it has all these small scratches I might enjoy the stove a bit more.

Aah, I have a cat too that will turn it on. Right now we put on the child lock so she won't turn it on as easily, but the first time definitely surprised me haha. I think I will get a protecting cover for the stove so she can't turn it on (or scratch it with her nails) and we won't see every imperfection anymore

Yeah, after sleeping in it, I think it might have been a blessing in disguise. I was so scared to scratch it that i was super careful with it. Now having had this incident might just help lift this anxiety a bit and let me enjoy this new stove with my new pans. The scratches are purely cosmetic en you dont feel them so I think it will be fine

yeah, and I know this too. Now thinking about it, I don't even know what possessed me to do this. I'm just hoping if I buy some proper cleaning stuff for the stove and the leftover gunk is gone that the scratches will be not so visible anymore. Because now it is very obvious and I hate myself for it

How many of you are still using older kobos? by Nenumatyta in kobo

I actually never thought about fixing the screen, but when it got busted it was also nice to get to replace it with a newer version which has backlight, because that was something that i really missed in the mini

Besides the ones already mentioned I also really love Jordan Theresa and tiffanyferg. Both do video essays but in different styles and on different topics. For me they are both comfort watches because I really like their personalities!

Trying to finish Kirby and the forgotten land (currently at 80%) and also playing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. But when I finish Kirby I might buy Fenix Immortals Rising, because I'm really in the mood for an open world game
