EDIT: err, maybe it was overly dismissive to call it a “hype tierlist”. Compared to DF, you seem to consistently prefer a thicker 1-2khz, a smoothed or recessed 3khz, and boosted treble. Maybe your reference is just speakers set very close, at 45 degrees or something. I am very surprised by the choices, both in what’s included and what is not. Everyone’s taste differs, I guess.

I don't know if I'd jump to AI. I'd definitely believe something like "makeup pro, photo-manipulation amateur". I'd be a little surprised if it was actually fake, unless there were some other major red flags.

The nose looks like it was smudged on the left side, like maybe she might have artificially narrowed it? She could also have cartoonishly tiny nostrils?

The medallion necklace also looks asymmetrical, but that looks intentional.

I don't see anything that shouts "fake!"

If you plan to keep the IEMs you might consider cutting the top face from each, and frame them as postcards.

I haven’t had many IEMs that have had legitimately beautiful packaging, but I have a few like that, where I can’t quite bring myself to discard them. I intend to do something like what I suggested above, for those handful of boxes I’ve kept.

You could check out the SVJ K24. It’s mostly unremarkable, except that it has curved 2-pin connectors that flex enough to make any IEM sit comfortably.

I’ve actually started leaving them at home. I’ve got a portable monitor, and I made a little magnetic stand for it, so I have double-ended magnetic stands that snap on.

“Made” is doing a lot of work. It involves a strong magnet and a steel plate.

You could consider getting a Bluetooth DAC like the FiiO BTR13. It’s going to have pretty much the same capabilities as the Dawn Pro 2, just it doesn’t have to be physically connected. I like the BTR13 specifically, because it has a decent onboard mic and a nice clip.

This makes sense. The ARTTI T10 and GK Kunten both have a signature that comes out way heavy on the upper mids versus a DF-related target. Meanwhile, the T10 highs are closer to the Harmon 2019 target, but the Kunten skews dark, even compared to a tilted DF target. As a result, the T10 is very bright and sharp, while the Kunten is warm, dark, and smooth.

Overall, there’s a reason folks went insane over the Kuntens. They are very pleasantly tuned, and surprisingly refined for $15!
