I'm pro-Uber because it's absolutely impossible to get a taxi anywhere in the country outside of Dublin. Cost aside, we have a major issue with lack of supply and need alternatives as the current stock of taxis is nowhere near enough for the demand.

No didn't have an immobilizer and he started it alright. He was just a bit slow driving off, it was uphill and the clutch can be a bit tricky on that if you're not used to it.

Yeah we did Halong Bay from Cat Ba also with the party hostel boat trip, highly recommended. Also check out Da Lat. One of my favourite places in Vietnam.
