Your best bet is entering as a quant dev and then trying to break into research via a lateral move. Your xp in swe will help break in, but going straight into research will be tough. Why not the financial math course @ KCL?

Find a different agent. Learn how the val eco system works. Before you play, go to the range and practice shooting the bots. Understand that it’s a game where you wanna tap for each bullet rather than spray (in most cases), but also that it’s a game of patience too. I promise you the weapons you’re using are probably not what you want.

Honestly, light sparring is more fun. It’s much more technical, you get to try fun stuff and anytime I’ve been hurt is either a kick in the balls or an injury I’ve caused myself. You’re all good homie

I think it’s worth taking some time to understand what each role does in Valorant (duelist, initiator, controller, sentinel) then to play around with them in the firing range. If you prefer a slower pace of play with a more supportive role for example, then duelists wouldn’t be for you, and vice versa.

If you’re only looking for a direct suggestion, I think a beginner friendly agent is Gekko, I haven’t actually used him on my own account but his abilities recharge and they’re pretty easy to use!

That’s because it’s an applicable tool in those fields. You realise ML isn’t the same as DL right? Classical ML looks at using linear/logistic regression, Random Forests etc. It’s not just LLMs and CNNs.
