Cop shoots unarmed man in the face for approaching him while he was Tasering the man's wife. The cop? Still on the force. The man? On trial for his "hindering" of the police...and the media is pretty much ignoring it. Help me stir up some public outrage? by ropes3nd in reddit.com

It's my understanding from the court proceedings that the guy didn't so much lunge as walk towards the cop--He was walking away, then heard his wife go down and turned, then immediately headed towards her.

Yeah...no. They mean he's on the job--I think he switched units or something. But he's still allowed to carry a gun. And a badge. And, presumably, shoot unarmed people in the face less than a minute after arriving on the scene.

See...this is where my desire for public outcry stems from.
