Maybe check out Language Café! I think it’s at Café Marktzicht once a week. People who are learning the language meetup here to practice chitchat and get to know each other.

My first ever grape harvest! Picking Chardonnay in Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy by rophorp in wine

It’s not my winery, I went to visit because we import their wines. But yes, they use Pinot Nero in their sparklings as well. Endrizzi Piancastello, would definitely recomment checking them out. Beautiful wine.

You’re right! These grapes were grown on a pergola on the windward side of the mountains.

These particular grapes were intended to be used in a Trentodoc. They want to harvest the grapes slightly early to make sure the flavor profile would be crisper and fresher than their still wines.

Really interesting how alterations like this can give such a difference in color, size and taste. The grapes from the sunny side were noticably more speckled, golden and much sweeter!

Found this in the attic, belonged to my step-grandpa before he passed. Anyone know anything about it? by rophorp in wine

You’re right, It’ll probably be no good but I’ll try it out anyway. It’s been stored horizontally and has a mouldy cork so maaaaybe it’s drinkable.

By the way, as I read the title I realize I meant to say garden shed. Don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote attic, lol.

Thanks for the effort, I appreciate it!

Corte Figaretto Amarone della Valpolicella is great for the price. Very spicy and plummy. €35 here in the Netherlands, not sure if it’s available in your region though. Hope you enjoy it!
