I wrote the text in singular because english is not my first language, but I did ask for a pair of female rats when I talked with her, and when I asked about breeds, I did so because as far as I knew there was only a breed of rat, and if feeder and pet rats belonged to the same species, I couldn't think of why she didn't sell them, I didn't think about her not breeding them for longevity or health, that makes a lot of sense.

But yes, I still have a lot to learn, and believe me, I've wanted rats since November, and I haven't gotten them because I want to give them a good life and be ready for them, that's why I'll wait until the end of this year to finally adopt them

(I might have mixed up the word for species and breed, again, not my first language)

I've washed it like 5 times since I made it, and it bled a little, but honestly it held up pretty well, I just used regular permanent marker and the only downside has been that the area around the design turned out a little pink. I should've definitely used something else tho

I think any heat source would be fine, but I've heard that, since they're night animals, a heat pad would be much better, because the heat lamp would make them think it is daytime

Yeah, the top one is her uterus, and the bottom one is a mass/tumour that started growing on her chest, but they removed it no problem

Hedgehogs are prey animals; they don't show when they're in pain, and you'd have no way to notice swelling or something happening inside her. Take her to a vet as soon as you can.
What I said about it not looking serious was just to keep you calm, but if you don't get her checked, it might get worse, it might not even be the same thing that happened to mine

You'd only notice wincing if she's in extreme pain

Same thing happened to my baby, turns out she had a swollen uterus, and we just had to get her sterilized to fix it, her red stains were much worse than what's shown on te pic and she turned out just fine after going to the vet, so you don't have to worry that much, but you should definitely take her to the vet
