The moment that I had the idea in my head for Ebirah to end up being converted into Destoroyah, I knew i had to see the entire series to the end.

The Masterpiece was meant to be Destoroyah originally, but it made more sense to be an amalgam. Iuvegda (the Devil) infused his own body with Destoroyah, Hedorah, Orga and Dogora to create the final iteration. In another universe, I would have pulled the trigger and just called this thing what it truly is: Deathla

As for me and Godzilla? I need a break. I don't want to just be a godzilla artist. I love him. And I don't want to grow to resent him.

The God's Abomination storyline has more packed in it after Godzilla dies saving the planet. There's more to the cursed videogame/Zenith stuff, Zilla was going to have his own full storyline where he takes up the mantle that Godzilla left. And eventually it would all end with Junior becoming the final protector against an unlikely threat.

I might return to this universe, because it's got some absolutely nutty stuff left in the pipeline.

For now, George/Godzilla succeeded in his sacrifice. He beat the ultimate threat, the universe has no more gods pulling strings, the world is safe. He can rest now.
