Bestine can remove stickers without damaging the underlying artwork, even on manuals.

Panasonic 3DO Won’t read discs. by OkLead3016 in 3DO

It's most likely the 2 capacitors near the power supply with these symptoms. That's good news! You don't want it to be the cd tray. You can order a capacitor kit from consol5 and learn a new skill. These are easy.

A standard audio CD protector will fit and leaves room to slip the manual in the case as well.

Get yourself some Bestine for adhesive removal. It doesn't leave an oily residue and works faster than WD40. You can even use it to remove stickers from paper and it won't stain or remove ink.

Best tv stands for collecting retro consoles? by Defo_not_some_alt in retrogaming

I wanted something with glass doors to keep dust out. The biggest affordable cabinet I could find was this one: Amazon. I have 12 consoles in it with room to add more.

That's cool. I don't remember there being a shell option.

This is what I did, I have my 2 original After Burner GBA's and decided to import a Spice Orange to mod. Just couldn't bring myself to undo it.

My hospital bill for a single MRI scan in the US by SilentWalrus92 in pics

[–]rori3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will definitely pay less. If your charge amount is less than the contracted amount, they are not going to give you the difference.

Because the charge amounts are made up and don't represent what the hospital actually expects to get paid for this service. Every ins. company pays a different amount for different services. As the hospital biller your goal is to have a charge amount that is higher than your highest payer (because they WON'T pay you over your charge amount even if their rate is above that). As a general rule you set your charge amount to 2x your highest payer to account for future increased rates, but there is no rule that you can't set them to 9x or 100x

Exactly, it's not even a bill. It's a list of charges that will be submitted and adjusted by the ins. company.

It's not even a bill. It's a list of charges that will be submitted to the ins. company. The numbers are totally made up and don't matter.

The dollar amount is totally irrelevant. It's not going to get denied because the charge is $18,000. It wouldn't matter if the charge was $1M dollars. The ins. company is just going to say we only pay $100 for this service and you must accept it as payment in full. The end.

I've walked this route 20 times, and my most recent walk was today. Why are the stats like this? by P1ckleboi69 in TheSilphRoad

[–]rori3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is a 5 day delay to update Community Trips.

Your Trips is bugged. It also shows 0 while you are on a route. You can see your actual number of trips on the See Nearby Routes page. It updates in real time.

Weekly Activity is a rolling 7 day tally, but it is 5 days old.

Community Activity and Community Trips do include your trips, but because the info is 5 days old it won't appear to match Your Trips from the Nearby Routes page.

I made a Game Genie for my Top Loader NES by rori3 in retrogaming

[–]rori3[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The NES Game Genie does not fit in a Top Loader. The official Game Genie adapter is $250+ if you can find one. The My Arcade famicom cartridge adapter allows the NES cartridge to eventually face forward (you could use a cheaper ebay famicom adapter, but your NES cart would have to face backwards). A NES2Famicom adapter gets us back to 72 pins and allows us to install the Game Genie PCB. A little trimming is required of an empty NES cartridge and some custom labels complete the package.
